Yang Kyoungjong was Korean. He was captured by the Japanese and pressed to fight the Soviets, captured by the Soviets and pressed to fight the Germans, captured by the Germans and pressed to defend Normandy, where he was captured by the Americans.

This room in the Tower of London was a cell for Adolf Hitler upon his capture during WW2. The toilet was installed purely because of his human rights. Hitler’s imprisonment here never happened, and this toilet was therefore never used.

Кстати, на курсах английского американский преподаватель остерегал русских слушателей от некорректного использования слова toilet.
А то наши обычно спрашивают, например, в каком-нибудь нью-йоркском присутственном месте, где тут у них toilet (унитаз), чем ввергают аборигенов в определённую степень смущения
